Since its inception, The Institute has supported important research projects that have ultimately benefited the lives of children with hearing loss. Clinical research investigations seek to enhance and expand clinical practices to improve the lives of deaf and hard of hearing children. Current studies are focused on cochlear implant indications and outcomes, as well as identifying prognostic factors that would lead to better implant utilization.
