Directions to the Implant Center
New York Eye and Ear Infirmary
The Ear Institute is located in New York City (Manhattan) at 380 Second Avenue at the corner of 22nd Street.
By Subway:
The Infirmary is accessible by the 6 or L trains. If taking the 6, get off at the 23rd Street stop and walk east to 2nd Avenue, then one block south to 22nd Street. If taking the L train, get off at 1st Avenue and walk one block west to 2nd Avenue. Walk north on 2nd Avenue to 22nd Street.
By Bus:
Second Avenue bus (M15) to 22nd Street and 2nd Avenue.
By Car:
From Long Island:
Take the Long Island Expressway into Queens Midtown Tunnel. Follow the signs to Manhattan and make a right onto Second Avenue from 35th Street. Take Second Avenue to 22nd Street.
From Queens:
Take the Queensborough Bridge to 59th Street and Second Avenue. Stay on Second Avenue to 22nd Street. Or take the Long Island Expressway into the Midtown Tunnel, then follow the signs to 35th Street. Take Second Avenue to 22nd Street.
From Brooklyn:
Take the BQE to the Williamsburg Bridge. Stay in the right lane until you get to Clinton Street. Make a right on Clinton Street and follow it to East Houston. Take a right at East Houston and follow signs to FDR Drive North. Take the 23rd Street exit (7), then follow 23rd Street to Second Avenue.
From The Bronx:
Take Harlem River Drive into FDR Drive. Stay on FDR Drive until the 23rd Street exit (7), then follow 23rd Street to Second Avenue.
From Staten Island:
Take the Verrazano Bridge to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. Then take FDR Drive north to the 23rd Street exit. Follow 23rd Street and make a left on Second Avenue to 22nd Street.
From New Jersey:
Take the George Washington Bridge to Harlem River Drive to FDR Drive. Take FDR Drive South to the 23rd Street exit (7). Follow 23rd Street and make a left on Second Avenue to 22nd Street.
Parking:
Discounted parking is available at the Gramercy Parking Garage located at 329 East 21st Street. In order to receive a discount, please request a sticker from the Ear Institute during your appointment.
