AUDIOLOGY:

Reva Batheja, MA, CCC-A, Supervisor, Pediatric Hearing Aid Center, received a Masters Degree in Audiology in 1999 from Northwestern University. She previously worked as a Pediatric Audiologist at a children’s hospital and as a Pediatric Specialist for a hearing aid and FM manufacturer. Reva joined The Ear Institute in September 2007. Her clinical interests are in pediatric diagnostics, pediatric hearing aid fittings and FMs.

Megan Kuhlmey, MS, CCC-A, Supervisor, Cochlear Implants, received her Masters Degree in Audiology from Brooklyn College. Her clinical interests are in the areas of hearing loss in children and adults, and cochlear implants. She has been a member of The Ear Institute since 2000.

Sandra Delapenha, MA, CCC-A, Senior Audiologist, received her Master's Degree from Hunter College. She has been an audiologist for more than 20 years. Her clinical interests are in the area of electrophysiology and evaluation of hearing in children and adults. She has worked here since 1990.

Lisa Goldin, MS, CCC-A received a MS degree in audiology from Hunter College in 2002. She started working as a cochlear implant audiologist in June 2002. Ms. Goldin has been pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in speech and hearing science at The Graduate Center, CUNY since 2003.

Emily Klemp, AuD, CCC-A is an audiologist with an interest in cochlear implants. She has been at The Ear Institute since 2006. She received her AuD from Northwestern University.

Audrey Morrison, AuD, CCC-A, received her bachelors degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Kentucky and her Doctorate of Audiology from The Ohio State University. Her areas of interest include educational audiology, pediatrics, hearing aids and FMs, and ABR testing.

Shelly Ozdamar, MS, CCC-A received her Masters degree in Communication Sciences from Hunter College in 1990.  She has been specializing in the treatment of cochlear implants for children and adults since 1993.  She also worked at The Graduate Center, CUNY assisting with the research of children with hearing loss. She has continued to be involved with research while working with cochlear implants.

Nicole C. Sislian, MPhil, MA, CCC-A, is an Audiologist, specializing in Cochlear Implants. She has been at The Ear Institute since 1996. She obtained her BA and MA degrees from Hofstra University in Long Island, and is currently completing her PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences at The Graduate Center, CUNY.

Katelyn Stoehr, MS, CCC-A received her Masters Degree in Audiology from Adelphi University. Her clinical interests are in the areas of electrophysiology, amplification, and the evaluation of hearing in children and adults. She has been a member of The Ear Institute team since 2007.

Sabrina Vitulano, AuD. CCC-A has been a licensed audiologist in New York State since 1988, working with both adults and children in diagnosing hearing loss to fitting amplification. In 2003 she began specializing in the treatment of Cochlear Implants for children and adults. Dr. Vitulano received her BA in speech and hearing science from the State University of New York at Buffalo, her MS in audiology from Brooklyn College and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Arizona's School of Health Sciences.

SPEECH LANGUAGE AUDITORY THERAPY

Elizabeth Ying, MA, Director, Hearing Habilitation, received a master’s degree in speech language pathology and audiology from the University of Denver. She has worked for more than 35 years in pediatric and adult auditory habilitation/rehabilitation. Her particular interest is in the area of clinical research in infant speech perception/production and discourse development post cochlear implantation.
Camille Mihalik, MA, CCC-SLP is a Speech Language Pathologist in hearing habilitation. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University and a Master of Arts degree from New York University.
Glorisel Iannotta, MS, CCC-SLP, holds a Bachelors Degree from Thomas More College, and an MS in Communication Science from Hunter College. Ms.Iannotta is a bilingual speech language pathologist who primarily works with an  English/Spanish speaking population.

Jessica Lisogorsky, MA, CCC-SLP received her BS in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland, College Park, in Hearing and Speech Sciences, and her MA from Hunter College in Communication Science. Previously, she has been a preschool special needs teacher at the Milestones School and was a speech language pathologist at The Center for Hearing and Communication.

EDUCATORS/EDUCATIONAL AUDIOLOGY

Mary Baumont, MS received her BA from Memphis State University in Special Education and her MS from New York University in Deaf Education. Most recently she was an Early Intervention Teacher of the Deaf at Lake Drive School in Mountain Lakes, NJ; previously she worked with deaf and hard of hearing children at the Long Hill Township Public Schools and the Summit Speech School. Ms. Baumont provides information, resources and support for families regarding their child’s educational plan, makes school visits, and provides training for school personnel working with children who are deaf and hard of hearing.

SOCIAL WORK:

Brittany Dhiman, MSW, LMSW received her Masters Degree from Fordham University.  She has been a licensed social worker for 11 years, specializing in the clinical areas of pediatrics and individual/group counseling.  She has been a part of The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary team since April 2008 and assists The Ear Institute team by providing support, counseling and resources to children, adults and families.
