Audiology:

Sabrina Vitulano, Au.D. CCC-A has been a licensed audiologist in New York State since 1988, working with both adults and children in diagnosing hearing loss to fitting amplification. In 2003 she began specializing in the treatment of Cochlear Implants for children and adults. Dr. Vitulano received her BA in speech and hearing science from the State University of New York at Buffalo, her MS in audiology from Brooklyn College and her Doctor of Audiology degree from the University of Arizona's School of Health Sciences.

Sandra Delapenha, MA, CCC/A, Supervisor, Clinical Audiology, received her Master's Degree from Hunter College. She has been an audiologist for more than 20 years. Her clinical interests are in the area of electrophysiology and evaluation of hearing in children and adults. She has been a member of the Hearing and Learning Center team since 1990.

Megan Kuhlmey, MS, CCC/A, Supervisor Cochlear Implants, received her Master's Degree in Audiology from Brooklyn College. Her clinical interests are in the areas of hearing loss in children and adults, and cochlear implants. She has been a member of the Hearing and Learning Center team since 2000.

Shelly Ozdamar, MS, CCC/A received her Masters degree in Communication Sciences from Hunter College in 1990.  She has been specializing in the treatment of cochlear implants for children and adults since 1993.  She also worked at CUNY’s Graduate Center assisting with the research of children with hearing loss. She has continued to be involved with research while working with cochlear implants.

Lisa Goldin, MS, CCC-A received a MS degree in audiology from Hunter College in 2002. She started working as a cochlear implant audiologist in June 2002 and has been working at The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary since June 2004. Ms. Goldin has been pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in speech and hearing science at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York since 2003.

Nicole C. Sislian, MPhil, MA, CCC/A, is an Audiologist, specializing in Cochlear Implants. She has been a member of the Hearing and Learning Center team since 1996. She obtained her BA and MA degrees from Hofstra University in Long Island, and is currently completing her PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences at the City University of New York Graduate Center.

Emily Klemp, AuD, CCC/A is an audiologist with an interest in cochlear implants. She has been a member of the Hearing and Learning Center team since 2006. She received her AuD from Northwestern University.

Sara Greene, AuD, CCC/A received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Gallaudet University in 2006 and a BA in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Music from the University of Florida in 2001. Prior to joining the team at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary in 2008, Dr. Greene worked in Washington DC as a Clinical Audiologist and Coordinator of a Universal Newborn Hearing Screening Program.

Katelyn Stoehr, MS, CCC/A received her Master’s Degree in Audiology from Adelphi University. Her clinical interests are in the areas of electrophysiology, amplification, and the evaluation of hearing in children and adults. She has been a member of the Hearing and Learning Center team since 2007.

Audrey Morrison, AuD, CCC-A, received her bachelors degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Kentucky and her Doctorate of Audiology from The Ohio State University. Her areas of interest include educational audiology, pediatrics, hearing aids and FMs, and ABR testing.

Reva Batheja, MA, CCC-A, Supervisor, Hearing Aid Center, received a Masters Degree in Audiology in 1999 from Northwestern University. She previously worked as a Pediatric Audiologist at a Children’s Hospital and as a Pediatric Specialist for a Hearing Aid and FM manufacturer. Reva joined our team in September 2007. Her clinical interests are in pediatric diagnostics, pediatric hearing aid fittings and FM

Speech-Language-Auditory Therapy:

Elizabeth Ying, MA, Director, Hearing Habilitation, received a master’s degree in speech language pathology and audiology from the University of Denver. She has worked for more than 35 years in pediatric and adult auditory habilitation/rehabilitation. Her particular interest is in the area of clinical research in infant speech perception/production and discourse development post cochlear implantation.

Camille Mihalik is a speech-language pathologist in hearing habilitation. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hofstra University and a Master of Arts degree from New York University.

Educators/Educational Audiology:

Alison Mendez, MS, received her Bachelors of Science degree in Hearing and Speech Science from the University of Maryland at College Park, and earned her Masters degree in Deaf Studies from Adelphi University. She has been working as a Teacher of the Deaf since 2001 and has been an educational specialist for the deaf and hard-of-hearing at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary since 2007. Ms. Mendez provides information, resources and support for families regarding their child’s educational plan and visits programs in the tri-state area and provides training for school personnel working with children who are deaf and hard-of-hearing.

Social Work:

Brittany Dhiman, MSW, LMSW received her Master’s Degree from Fordham University.  She has been a licensed social worker for 11 years, specializing in the clinical areas of pediatrics and individual/group counseling.  She has been a part of The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary team since April 2008 and assists the cochlear implant team by providing support, counseling and resources to children, adults and families.
